As we are in the midst of holy month Ramadhan, I wish to share with you a piece of history taken by late Kevin Carter. Thou he may not contribute much towards the development of fast-moving society today, there's a deep message which he left for us the figure it out.
This was found in his diary:-
Dear God,
I promise I will never waste my food no matter how bad it can taste and how full I may be.
I pray that He will protect this little boy, guide and deliver him away from his misery.
I pray that we will be more sensitive towards the world around us and not be blinded by our own selfish nature and interests.
I hope this picture will always serve as a reminder to us that how fortunate we are and that we must never ever take things for granted.
Through blood shed and hard work we've "sincerely" sacrificed for, definitely we are eligible to claim for our income. Indeed the moment we withdraw the cash from the atm machine, undoubtedly we've unleashed the door of lust to continuously and unwisely spending character - especially during berbuka puasa and the most anticipating event "Hari Raya".
Not every single life in this world up to this moment had live a life soooooo blessed like what we currently ride on. As we tend to take so many things for granted, we may think that we are the most unfortunate people in this world without we even realize or visualize the fact that there is/are people out there who need our assistance the most in order to survive.
Hence, let's make a prayer for the suffering in anywhere any place around the globe - think and look at this when we complain about our food and the food we waste daily...
